Burning the Weapons For 7 Years ( a new study)

Time to think outside of the box.

The purpose of this study is to share with you IMO the correct interpretation for Ezek. 39:9

Ezekiel 39: 9
“And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:”

Christians have been trying to tackle this verse for as long as I can remember. Sorry, but as far as I know, there is currently no reasonable explanation as to why any nation would burn military armaments. Why would you burn a gun or a tank or a rocket launcher? Metal does burn but for what reason? If anyone can think of a reason to burn metals and military grade materials for 7 years, please explain.

According to Ezek. 39: 12 “And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land,”

So, it will take Israel 7 months to bury hundreds of thousands of bodies, but it will take Israel seven years to burn the weapons?
I see a discrepancy with this. Don’t you?

Let’s pretend that you are the Prophet Ezekiel, and you are given a vision of a time of war that will happen 2500 years in the future. You see a building and out of this

building come arrows that are capable of inflicting mass destruction. You see the arrows being launched and you assume that the building is some sort of BOW. Together the Bow and the Arrows are weapons of war.

If you the reader are familiar with Bill Salus’ correct (IMO) analysis of Jeremiah 49, you know that he postulates that a nuclear power plant in Elam Iran will suffer a catastrophic disaster. Currently in Elam Iran is a nuclear power plant called the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant.
Jeremiah who was a contemporary of Ezekiel uses the phrase, “
break the bow of Elam”. Again, according to Bill Salus breaking the bow of Elam is a reference to the destruction of this Bushehr Power Plant.

Below, please compare the scriptures of both Jeremiah and Ezekiel. They are quite similar. Don’t you think? And they both refer to WEAPONS of war. They both refer to a BOW.  And don’t forget that we are dealing with terminology that would have been used over 2500 years ago. Instruments of war such as bows and arrows.
Jeremiah 49
35 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam,
Ezekiel 39
3. And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.

Now, try to explain a nuclear power plant using the vocabulary of a Prophet who lived 2500 years ago. It will not be easy.

If you are having a difficult time, perhaps this verse can help you.

Ezekiel 39:10 So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire:

As far as I know, there were not many re-usable energy sources back in the days of Ezekiel. No coal. No natural gas. No petroleum products. And no solar panels. But there was wood. And plenty of it. It was wood that supplied all of their energy needs. As wood was used for heat and cooking as well as for war.

So, if we study what Ezekiel is saying in the above verse, it appears that he is telling the modern state of Israel that all re-usable energy sources will not be necessary after the Ezekiel war. IMO, the terms take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forest are methods of finding these energy sources. Some energy sources are easy to gather (take no wood), and some energy sources take some effort to acquire (cut down). Either way, Ezekiel is suggesting that the gathering of these energy sources will not be necessary.

Apparently, the weapons such as the bow and the arrows will be used for that energy. The BOW is the nuclear power plants, which make the material used for the arrows and perhaps any nuclear tipped missiles or arrows that are left over.

Page 4
Now you may ask, why the 7 years? Well, because the tribulation period will only last 7 years. The energy sources of this world will probably not be sufficient for the 1000-year Millennium Kingdom of Jesus.

In summary
IMO, Both Ezekiel and Jeremiah have described nuclear power plants both as weapons and as a building that burns. These nuclear power plants will be used to supply energy to Israel for the next 7 years. They will not need any wood, if you will. The nuclear power plants described by the prophets as bows (weapons) along with other materials will be set on fire as Ezekiel saw it inside the captured power plants. Or as we know it today… Nuclear energy comes from splitting atoms in a reactor to heat water into steam, turn a turbine and generate electricity. Try explaining that 2500 years ago. I think the description of a building that sets things on fire and burns them is a fair description.

Two more things… Unless the soon coming UFO’s give the Ezek. 38 war combatants combustible military equipment and transport them somehow to the battlefield, I don’t see any possible fulfillment to this prophecy in the near or far future.

And it’s not that it will take 7 years to burn all the weapons, that is an incorrect way of looking at this verse; it’s that that is all of time during the tribulation. The weapons (the nuke plants) will burn continuously for all the 7-year tribulation period. They obviously will not be needed after the 7 years. We will be in the 1000-year Millennium.

Below is a Wikipedia description of a modern-day nuclear power plant. It is a place of FIRE!

Nuclear power plant

From Wikipedia
nuclear power plant is a thermal power station in which the heat source is a nuclear reactor.

What a fantastic article, what is your opinion on the revealing of the UFO’S aliens(demonic as we all should realize)?
